Wilshire are a multi-national financial data company. They wanted to replace their old intranet with a new look and feel and make it easier for staff to use.

Task
We had to bring together different stakeholders from across the business. As an extra challenge they worked across different time zones. The old intranet was over complicated, buggy tired, and lacked visual appeal.
Action
We used Content Strategy to bring together the writers and stakeholders in the organisation. We then planned out how to use Sharepoint to develop the new Intranet.
We identified the people in Wilshire who were key to making the project a success. We arranged a kick-off meeting to get to know the members of the team and put a plan in place.
We took Wilshire’s brand guidelines and their suite of photographs. We turned these into Photoshop mock-ups for review.
We consulted with the people involved to get a site structure together and made sure we’d identified people’s key tasks.
We also got input from the development team who was responsible for maintaining the old site. We got them to commit to a launch date where they would put our staging version live.
Result
We put Wilshare’s new intranet live by the deadline. The new site was warmly received.
